I appreciate your comments. I find them both interesting and intelligent.

But, the announcement is out. Why are we still guessing?

I'm holding, but only just.

This is because I'm sick of guessing.
Investing is meant to be about forming opinions based on information. Trading halts are meant to be about ensuring the market if fully informed and to prevent those with privileged knowledge gaining an advantage before that can happen. So why the 10 days? TEVA clearly indicated they were leaving 10 days ago. Does anyone dispute that? The suspension ended with absolutely no more information than: 'TEVA is leaving'.

That is, of course, unless you think, "Mesoblast has been offered an equity finance facility", is information. Who by? At what terms? Yet again we've started a guessing thread; this one. Whoopee!!!!!!!

And before this one:

What was the trading halt about? God we had fun guessing that. Dictionaries, contracts and even Wikipedia had work out in the ensuing sophistry.

Then, the guessing game I'm personally most interested in:
How much information about the interim review of the CHF trial did the IDMC reveal to MSB and TEVA? The companies may not be able to give us the details of the analysis but they certainly could have told us what level of detail - or lack of- they were given? But they haven't informed us. At best they've 'hinted'. Why?

All HC threads involve some guessing. But mostly it's people guessing what the future holds; nothing wrong with that. Here we've guessing about we should have been told.

That sort of guessing belongs to gamblers not investors.
