    Gee,
Alexandros, actually it was pretty bad, so much so that lots of improvements were suggested[notably by a federal government report].
But real men don't take any notice of reports, they say things like '' a hundred year event '' , only a communist would respond to 2011 as a warning.

So, Alex, is this event enough to implement some of the suggestions that the 2011 report suggested?
No, of course not , they just need to put up a few more sub standard windmills , so when they need something to blame other than their own incompetence , ''frozen windmills ''as the cause, will sound marginally less ridiculous.

The following is an article in Powermag.com about 2011. Not your average treehugger source by the way.

FERC, NERC: February Blackouts in the Southwest Could Have Been Avoided (powermag.com)

Bottom line , this time was worse than 2011, but if repeated republican administrations had done what governments are supposed to do, the consequences would not have been anywhere as bad.
No amount of bald faced lies about windmills and renewables will alter that.
Perhaps they can sue other states and the feds for shoeing them up.
