Voip can not travel on Telstra's copper network.
It needs cable to funtion, in my case I have Optus cable.
When BPL (broadband over powerlines) comes in you won't even need cable.
For the life of me I can't understand why TLS aren't into voip services now,.............they have virtually lost me as a customer and as the word spreads they will lose more and more market share.

I guess once they go private, you will see some sparks fly, because they will have a lot of trade restrictions removed.
