Yes, Texas4Qld (on Y) has provided a very good point for Looksmart from within his "shared Furl" (his public file) when he provided a Link (on Y) to shibbles.com ...
Tex asked the question, from within his post at Yahoo: (He says) ____________________________
A snap shot from one of my furled articles.....enjoy !

Could other publishers join The New York Times?
While this is a software licensing deal, the agreement provides legitimacy to LookSmart in the eyes of any other publisher considering working with them.
Combined with a stock buyback, the Times deal could allay potential partners’ concerns about LookSmart’s viability as a company and technological scalability. ____________________________
And the answer seems, that the very next progression for many of those (now 11) technology partners that LOOKSMART now have, could be for them to go ahead and proceed with the addition of Furl, I'd say.
BESIDES OTHER PUBLISHERS COMING ON BOARD.
The reply on the excellent link you provided (to shibles.com) just about sums it up!! The writer says:
< Think about it. The NYT can, at it's discretion, now get to feed ads to the member's Furled pages. How much more targeted an audience can you get?
If a reader Furls primarily articles about pets, then the NYT can hit his furl pages with ads for pet food and vet. care. How smart is this? >
How smart is Dave Hills is the real answer.
Thanks again for that link, Tex.
