wesr...Not directed at you mate, I don't reject charting generally as it is the principal foundation of trading. However, movements mostly need to be qualified by the following day or two's pattern. A swing pattern is a safe prediction by all charters ATM as that is what the markets are doing overall.....To confirm this just read the overnight Nasdaq closing comments:
"The stock market continued its recent string of DAILY SWINGS today as the S&P 500 scored a gain of about 1%"

ATM anyone forecasting a drop over the past two weeks in general was pretty secure until the Greek votes Sun/Mon. However, the US markets have slammed that theory overnight haven't they, with great gains!

If it is good news, which by the massive storage of food and withdrawal of funds may appear unlikely, then the juniors that have halved in preparation over the past two months will rally. That won't be anyone's charting, it will be a fundamental global change that will then be confirmed by charters after the event, something has to happen for a chart to form and predict a likely outcome in the future. Internal leaks resulting in change of trading patterns are created by fundamentals that have leaked to the market and a change of trading occurs establishing a pattern that is confirmed by the charts.

The strength of SUR over the past week in such torrid times tells a story I reckon.

Although, today will be an extremey interesting day, is the DOW an indicator?

With US markets up majorly across the board........They must see renewed value in investing just prior to the Greek vote. Interesting I reckon ???

Based on the support that is developing @ .06 and the US being UP majorly it should be a very interesting day on SUR today.
