Just reading the May 2009 newsletter.

    1750Ha currently cultivated
with 930Ha sold this year (2009)814Ha (2008) must mean a significant increase in scale.

    DISCLOSURE
I bought a lot (1/6Ha) on the 2007 prospectus which stated they had 840Ha under cultivation at that time.
Basically for 30grand (before tax, 20 grand after) over 12 years I'd get wood worth 180 grand (before tax) minus harvest and sales fees, which TFS will charge.
    180,000 x 6 = $1,080,000/Ha........ you do the rest of the maths..

I see the significance of the UAE now.
They won't need MIS if UAE has agreed, once the ink is dry on the JV, to fund a minimum of 200Ha PA of plantation at the same rates as the current MIS.
What this means to growers though. The arabs will be producers and purchasers of the oil, as will TFC, might mean that prices for the wood are not everything growers might want. Though the newsletter does say that a maximum of 25% of its yearly harvest will be sold to the 51% arab owned JVC.

I see a note suggesting dieback is under control and restricted to the wetter areas. One big wet and we'll all be rooned said Hanrahan.
