The ASX list seems to be a load of garbage derived from some automated system coding. According to the list the only ASX listed entity that is shorted greater than 1% is Betashares Australia. There disclaimer on the list as to the accuracy of the data provided.

From this report one could say that shorting on the ASX almost doesn't exist at all.

While probably not perfect Shortmans reports are more meaningful.
