There was also an arrangement which existed during the initial listing on the TSX whereby you could transfer your shares to the TSX at no cost (AVM paid for the service). I am not sure whether this arrangment still exists, now that we've been restructured, but I haven't seen anything to say it dosen't. Tried looking back through the history on HC but it is something like a 100 pages and nothing jumped out at me. An email to AVM may prove fruitful.
On that note - does anyone know of the implications of doing this eg trigger a CGT event here in Australia, is foreign income treated differently????
