It appears that hardly anybody was aware of the extent of the audit of Pan resulting from the problems with Travacalm. Here is a press release relating to it that makes no mention of PPH.

    "Travel sickness tablets recalled

A brand of travel sickness tablets has been recalled following complaints of excessive side effects.

Following consultation with the Therapeutic Goods Administration, Key Pharmaceuticals recalled three batches of its Travacalm Original tablets.

According to AAP, Key Pharmaceuticals in a statement said it had received a number of complaints of side effects relating to the active ingredients in the tablets, but the company did not say what the side effects were.

The three affected batches are numbers 77164 with an expiry date of June 2005, 78586 expiring in August 2005, and 79954 expiring in October 2005.

Key Pharmaceuticals said all packs should be returned to the place of purchase.

The batch number is displayed on the end of the carton’s flap.

    22 January 2003 "

Around this time PPH fell from $1.40 to around $1.20 but they soon recovered and the market appeared to be in complete ignorance of the audit being put into place.

Who was responsible for keeping the market informed - the company or TGA? I suggest that the company was.
