I wonder if they will try to save money by halting or slowing down the clearing of overburden?

This can take a few weeks to resolve. At least they have a lot of working equipment on hand for any earthmoving needed to fix the tailings dam, plus a CEO on hand with the right background. There may also be a need to satisfy the environment dept that all is OK - which can be time consuming.
