I don't mind this... given the tough history CVN has had with production in Thailand I think they're just trying to get out while the going is good - plus the cash would be useful considering that there is probably a lot more work in the WA permits ahead of them.

Also interesting to see "Advising Finder Exploration on the divestment of its Phoenix South-1 oil discovery and associated Bedout Sub-basin permits."

I hope they get a good deal for their sake and ours.

I don't see much to be gained from retaining the Thailand assets, but I do see a big downside if Apache decide to speed up their work to prove up the permits and CVN is caught short of cash. I've had enough of capital raisings.
