Coopec - last time I looked Tap had a material investment in Thailand and that investment (if on target) was about to generate material cashflows.
Accordingly this thread which is about sovereign risk is highly relevant to tap - will the thai army honour the existing rule of law in thailand - if not will taps projected cashflows and its investment be impacted?
Personally I suspect all will be well for taps investment. The thai army has historically behaved rationally. Failing to maintain or honour existing thai law would be disasterous for the thai people and the army knows this. Foreign investment in thailand would stop overnight and would be impacted for generations.
The topic of thai sovereign risk is far more pertinent to tap when compared to a serial bloggers google postings about the oil and gas industry. I voted UZs post today up for that reason - it was gentle but spot on.
