Are you going there with a wife/girlfriend, or with some mates?

If with the former, there is plenty of shopping and good clean fun to be had.

World class restaraunts as well, not only Thai.

There's an excellent British fish and chip shop called 'Oh my Cod', near Khao San Road in Bangkok.

In Pattaya, try the excellent Seafood Buffet at the Montien Hotel.

Stay away from Pizza Hut though. They couldn't make a Pizza to save their lives!

If looking for clothes, try the 'annoying' Indian Tailors.

They stop you in the street with outstretched hand, not wanting to take no for an answer.

Excellent suits though, at value prices, custom made.

So much to see and do in Thailand.

Try and stay away from organised tours etc, and blend in with the locals.

Public transport and Taxis are cheap as, but no seatbelts in Taxis!

Those Taxi drivers are very adept at speeding and changing lanes with no warning. White Knuckle stuff!!


If going with mates, well that's another ball game!!
