In answer to your survey questions, Survey says:

1. Do you use/subscribe to stock research available on the net?

Answer:
Yes.

2. What, and from where?

Answer:
The usual suspects: Huntley, Shares Weekly, and Fat Prophets.

3. Does it satisfy you thirst for quality information/opinion?

Answer:
Yes, but my research is also supplemented from other domestic sources. Internationally, I rely solely on overseas research sources.

4. If there was quality, proven, independent research available on Australian companies at a premium price (price>$1000 p.a.) would you be willing to cough up the dough?

Answer:
If it had the effect of providing me with the information concerned, yes. In doing so, chances are I could reduce my overall research bill.

5. If you answered 'yes' to question 4, what would you want information on? ie. fundamental company valuations, short term trading oportunities, option opportunities, etc??

Answer:
Fundamental company valuations.
