I am writing to express my appreciation at your enthusiastic commitment to keeping the market informed about AGM and to encourage you to keep doing it.
I purchased most of my AGM holding at less than ten cents, which means that I have made a small bundle so far. As I see it I have been rewarded for enduring the risks that face all emerging producers, so this is not an exceptional benefit. The gain reflects the risks taken.
Now that AGM is within a few months of production the risk are clearly lower than they were a year ago. AGM has been re-rated as the risks reduced and as the risks reduce even more it will, even if nothing else happens, be re-rated again. But things will happen. I suggest to you that between now and October 07 the following could happen. Your thoughts?:
- Ball received, mill completed, first production.
- Production targets will be revised upwards.
- AGM will list on TSE, resulting in an upwards re-rating of SP.
- New Middle East war between Iran (and its allies) and Israel (and its allies). Likely to start about mid 2007, potentially resulting in market carnage, depending on how much damage is done to global oil supplies. (ouch!) But as the AGM concentrate is clearly wanted the AGM SP will recover.
- Discovery of an ‘unexpected’ large quality resource at Melba Flats.
- Plan to mine Melba Flats announced. The ore will be processed at a third party mill.
- The quantity and quality of ore at Bison quantified (like Avebury about a million tonnes at 1.4%). Note that these are potentially one and the same deposit.
- Another resource discovery announced.
- Announcement of takeover bid about $1.00 by a ‘Canadian’ company. This may not emerge until after milling has commenced as potential bidders are likely to be cautious over the uniqueness of the Avebury ore. The longer they wait the higher the price. A bidding war between three or more predators is also a possibility, taking the final sale price well above $1.00.
- Much discussion but no commitment to a second mill.
Ghosta hope you stay positive and enjoy the roller coaster that is AGM.
