Zonetrader, my comment was only in response to sypaladin's comment about a "black hole" of $78 billion as being puny in comparison to the current debt. (60% of current debt is not puny.)

It was not a comment on who is better or worse, or justification for any debt.

Abbott went into the last election claiming his promises had been full costed/audited, later we find out that they had not been. He cannot afford to do the same thing this time around.


As for our current choice between the parties, I really do hope both of them change leaders and themselves.
