Laughter -- the best medicine. You have made Australia the laughing stock of the investment world. Foreign CEOs are saying "What the hell is going on down there?" as they have a good laugh.

Opportunity. You have given us this wonderful opportunity to sell our cash, bonds and boring old stocks and buy Aussie mining shares at ridiculous prices. Atlas and other iron ore companies on a forward p/e of less than two, Cape Lambert Resources for much less than cash backing, coal stocks for dirt-cheap prices while coal prices boom. BHP and RIO for peanuts. The Chinese love you, of course, not just because you speak Mandarin, but due to the fact that with a single stroke of your magic wand you have made ALL the resource companies they want to buy so CHEAP! That will teach those greedy miners a lesson!
