High cost producers will succum to lower IO prices and, einstein, I wonder why you can't see our country's position.
A lowering of interest rates in an effort to prop up inefficient miners:
1)would not lower the AUD
2)would create an enormous property bubble with dire consequences for our economy
3)would exacerbate the deflationary effect on our cost of living
4)would not produce one more job
5) would erode income to those on fixed incomes
6)would create a manic equity market bubble
But I know, "don't confuse me with facts and witnesses, I've made up my mind" haven't you?
