thanks for your answer to Mr tibbs, pity you didn't come forward well before all the silly games were played and my answers could have been in one posting maybe.

Never mind the past events, many thanks for your professional answer now.

may I ask ?
how wide would or could one side of the pit be if,

there was/were a road added to carry the about 100tonn trucks, to enter this pit at say 300meters down on one side of the pit only .

or

would the road go around the pit as it went downwards, all the 300meters or so down?

then
would this be a single lane road
or
a double lane road to allow the trucks to pass, 20meters or ?...at each level with safety ?

how wide would this road be, as there could be a 300meter drop on one side of the truck/driver.

then
how wide would the batter be, to allow for the trucks travelling down 300meters or so ?
