Lets see,free education.As far as I know it still is for anyone whom might want it.If your talking about a couple of years of free uni?That almost sent us broke.Cheap housing.No one gave them to us,they weren't cheap comparatively and there was no first home owners scheme.I bought my first house at 23 just before I went into business It took a lot of hard work.Negative gearing was set up to invest in rental properties.Rental shortages are not a new problem.Someone whom might make 150 in your opinion doesn't deserve it.Why?Is that a lot of money to you?If you feel so strongly about it then give away your tax deductions.To most smsf this is not a modest contribution but a significant loss.By the way I have never put my hand out to anybody or government agency for a hand out,private schools for my three children priv. health and payed my rightfull taxes.Your right about one thing.Idid whinge about it.
