As an engineer who studied both geology and mining engineering, it is sad how much you forget.  The recent posts on the type of Nickel deposit, battery and stainless steel use etc have been enlightening.  Thanks to those who post these as it gives perspective. Its nice to be given views on the fundamentals and foundation for success or failure. As a long term holder now, rampers and moaners posts are no where near as suggestions that this investment isn't about the shortage of battery material but more likely how SI nickel may potentially play a role in meeting a forthcoming market need for Nickel used in stainless steel.  When folk say DYOR, I didn't.  Just trusted in my brother in law after a few beers but didn't risk the jewels.  But as a structural engineer all can draw comfort in knowing stainless steel is a fundamental and it needs nickel; hopefully ours.
