You've got to be kidding that you think that they did this of their own accord...the only reason was that they got a call from ASIC b/c they did not value the options correctly according to the Corporations Act.
They deliberately used an artificial spot price to ensure that the true value transfer from shareholders to themselves wasn't put up in the spotlight to improve their chance of getting it through at today's EGM.
The SP increase effectively represents the dilution factor of what was going to go into their pockets...now enjoyed by ALL shareholders.
You've got to be kidding that you think that they did this of...
