I guess buying a new mansion is a half-excuse for selling big lines of stock at a sensitive time, but wouldn't the sale of the old mansion have taken care of that? Or didn't poor Bernie own a house?
Apparently he had 'cashflow reasons' for dumping; well he certainly didn't help shareholders with their cashflow situations.
I would have rather hoped that the CEO, leading his bruised and battered troops into battle, would have thought, 'Mustn't get myself into a cashflow predicament at the moment, wouldn't be a good time to smack the price down'.
Oh well, as Myer shareholders we are used to suffering...
