Jesimore, if you want to learn more about oil and gas exploration (which is always best if you want to trade oil stocks) I would suggest signing up to respected oil and gas bulletins (more the better) and read their recommendations and try to understand why they made their sections.
I subscribe to many but find Peter Strachens quite good. http://www.stockanalysis.com.au/ .. and subscribe to Oil And Gas Gazette magazine for all technical data ..(a good learning place if you want to push your mind)
Remember all specs are gambling, like the horsies, casinos and lotto but much better because you set the odds, depending on how much you know.
