Australia is a bigger, better country than the current government. The country will be OK, we can survive a few years of idiocy...but six years of idiocy is just about as far as you would want to go testing the hypothesis!
I agree. The country is carrying on, courtesy of the mining industry, and in spite of the irrelevant government.
I believe that the public gives a fair bit of latitude to any government to implement an agenda. But they cannot abide incompetency, waste, policies that weaken the country, and continually "dumb" decision making.
That too. But I think that the exhaustion point has now been reached, and Gillard's arrogant advice to the europeans over the weekend confirms a frightening ignorance of what is happening.
