Thanks for the in depth explanation...

Yeah makes sense, but I won't pretend I understood all of it....

I hold a heap as well, bought in two packets. One in early November and the other in early January. So I am still quite comfortable at this level. I did expect to see it move on more positively from the Jan 19th announcement, however the new placement took care of that!

I am just very positive about VoIP in general, no one can deny its potential. IMO how well engin does will depend almost entirely on its marketing effort. And I think they are doing a great job thus far. Have you every tried to google anything about VoIP? Engin is always on top of the tree, they are THE high profile Australian VoIP provider.

There is no doubt that there is competition out there and there is going to be more every day. Its like the explosion of ISP's in the early to mid 90's. Australia had hundreds, now there is just a handful of big players. There are relatively low barriers of entry to be a VoIP provider. I'm a computer geek and have mucked around with making a VoIP solution myself to supply my local clients/area. Three months work, and I have a solution, built on free open source software!

So the technology that engin has is nothing really different to what the competition has. Their point of difference is marketing, strong business alliances and good user support.

IMHO a couple more good announcements and the market is going to ignite the engin...

IMHO some mediocre announcements (low subscriber growth rates) and the market will remain skeptical and SP will suffer

    Is this ramping???

    Above is all IMHO

To buy or not to buy, that is the question.....
