Clearly the new mining policy has killed off Mining appetite for lucrative gold finds and Mining entrepreneurship. Any very profitablem mines will efectively pay instead of 30 % up to 60%
effectively negating their hard work.
Does Rudd not realise that by aussies sharing the wealth of the land" you are killing off the hand that feeds you, that whih has insulated the country from recession
There is a lot more than simply saying aussies to share the minerals...the company has to execute exploration, admin, planning, negotiation, processing of those minerals LOL
