I think way too many people are looking at this as a glass half empty view,

After this capital raising as noomxx pointed out a huge area of uncertainty surrounding the capital position has been removed. Uncertainty in this environment is doing more damage to the share prices than the event actually happening.

An example is NAB, if you compare its performance from the close of the first day of trading after the capital raising to the close yesterday it was up 4%. But more importantly it had outperformed the XJO in that time by 12%!

Even if you take the pre-raising price and compared it to the market performance it had still outperformed the overall market, just goes to show you what taking out uncertainty in this market can do for a share price.
