Just gonna send a cheeky message, as I'm sure none of the old posters are still around from GFC dayz....
On Monday, my last parcel of FLT will go out the back door.
I still remember the GFC like it was yesterday.... In 2007,staving off the evil bank on my margin loan....and buying FLT, lotz of FLT from 16$ all the ways down too, um, a very big parcel of stock at round $3.70....Oh the memories...
Many said 3.70 was too much to pay as it kept going down....so I sold other perfectly good stock at massive losses, say 50% to buy more FLT
It was all the money in the world to me that day, now it is one dayz pay.....sorry, that's not at all true, just the Wall Street quote.
In all seriousness, FLT bought me two pieces of real estate....investing on fundamentals and discipline can make you a lot of money, especially when others are losing their heads
Best wishes for all investers...and even at today's price and market, I would buy FLT ahead of plenty of other stocks
