Kenneth
I was reading the website and about to post the link ... thanks.
Look, cup cakes n all, its a human condition to be interested in the few that push boundaries of any endeavour.
I am not at all interested that she might be the youngest to circumnavigate ... I have some faint appreciation of the task ahead for her and am concerned that she makes it home again and I will be intersted as to how she handles it all.
I have a mate who sailed around the world, but he had people join him for some legs between the solo gigs ... he's a strong minded capable fellow and he was challenged many a time re loneliness, tiredness, breakdowns and repairs.
I assume if Jessica needs help with repairs, then the solo gig is over.
Also, when my mate sailed through known pirate zones he and other yatchies teamed up and sailed together w/o lights and with pre-arranged signals and strategies ... being a solo voyage I am not sure what the rules would permit with this.
Cheers
