'Five rises in a row has made HARDMAN RESOURCES (HDR) a serious
target of takeover rumours.
The run started at 96c last Thursday and hit top gear
yesterday, with a 12c rise to a new high of $1.23 at one stage.
This is not the first time, of course.
The stock surged to above $1 in April 2001 when it was widely
expected to be on the receiving end of a bid from WOODSIDE (WPL). "
