Message seems pretty clear to me from US foreign office statements; the want the Government gone. Making investment decisions based on my perception of how busy the US is and what their priorities is would be risky hubris indeed. It is enough for me to know that while the US wants them binned, for whatever reason, then sovereign risk is weapons grade.
