Just a few fairly fundamental problems with that approach, berretta - for example:

    1. What would be causing the temperature to rise if it's not the extra greenhouse gases? The sun isn't suddenly sending more energy to earth to make it heat up.

    2. What is happening to all the carbon dioxide that is being produced from burning fossil fuels? If CO2 rise is caused by temperature rise alone - then this CO2 must be going somewhere else.

    3. Where is the temperature-driven CO2 coming from? How is a temperature rise causing CO2 to rise so quickly? It can't be being released from the oceans because the oceans are becoming more acidic- that is they are absorbing CO2, not releasing it.
