Funny how the ol Lady reminisced about 'back in the day' without the 'green thing'...but completely neglected to mention how she stopped doing all those things in favour of the 'new fandangle' electrical products and disposable plastics products... The young cashier is a product of the laziness of the older generation wanting the 'latest and greatest' trying to 'keep up with the Joneses'.
So the old bird was right, they didn't 'have that Green thing' because if they did we wouldn't have all the pollution and waste we have today...So if lil ol lady is so high and mighty about 'not having that green thing' how about she go back to doing those 'Green things' from yesteryear.... Otherwise, yes you "old folks" where the most wasteful generation.
