Given that this is your first post ever on HotCopper, it is perhaps unfair to suggest you should have read up on GCN's past shenanigans. I think of uctv.fm, First Mongolian, Priority One, airconditioners, Jermaine Jackson - I could go on ad nauseam.

The hype we see in this week's announcements is typical of what we have seen (unfulfilled) for nigh on 17 years. It is worth researching these failures. But perhaps you know about them already.
