Thanks for the link Lappy,I own shares in a graphite mine soon to recommence production in STH Australia,the company has a research agreement with Monash University. While the current super scheme is better than none IMHO ,it needs major refinement. Should one look at the pension funds in Canada,they take an extremely long term position in a company with their own inhouse research and investment people,which over time surely must benefit the individual pension holder. The investing weighting on our sharemarket is skewd to the big end of town,the bhp's and the like. The whole industry needs to be re-engineered,with a longterm focus and maybe a small volite percentage for"new" startups with potential. I often look at Norway,and how theyve acheived what they have. The two current major partys could do well to learn from them IMHO.
