I mean seriously, they raised the debt ceiling 7 times under Bush for a total increase of 90% (thus creating the current problem) without blinking an eyelid, and NOW they decide to hold the current government to ransom. All they achieved was massive global attention on both the debt problem and the incompetency of the US political system.
Now we have a collapse in market confidence, and no increase to their outrageously low tax rates....... well bloody done!
