Tchaga was not actually a bad discovery, the grade is decent although it's a little on the small side and definitely would never support a stand-alone operation. You'd need another 3 or 4 Tchagas for that at least.

Gogbala has been a bust for sure, in hindsight they should have pulled up stumps on that prospect 12-18 months ago when it was becoming clear it was low-grade and inconsistent, but MKG persevered and now we've overspent on it. I don't begrudge them the fact that this is pure Greenfields exploration, but it's been a strategic failure.

I don't have any confidence in their technical ability as geologists to make the right decisions anymore, and I think the in-country team has a similar lack of understanding around the key geological structures within their tenements. That's about the most damning accusation you can make of any exploration company.

I still think their ground is prospective, but they need to tell us one-way or another whether it's going to be worth holding onto for the Au potential, or if it's a pivot shift to the Mn.

Anyone know what happened with the Kohorgo drill testing/soil sampling on the newly acquired tenement MKG were ramping 18 months ago? I'm guessing it was a bust too.
