The issue is we need junior explorers to find the future mines, Barrick, Anglo et al are not doing this.
Whilst I agree that there are a lot of lifestyle companies out there, there are also a lot of up standing companies, some of which are overlooked as they don't spend half their corporate costs on conferences and marketing. I would suggest picking companies with solid management who have a record of discovery and sale (not just a lucky one off). This should weed out some of the lifestyle co's
