Gold seems about to make new all-time highs whilst Mako makes new all-time lows.
Arguably this is a driver in the move away from gold as this very disconnect rasies some worrying questions wrt management's approach.
But if 'slouchy' stuffs around with some Mn, Li and whatever when gold goes on a tear... then... well, it's just finding it's feet in a new industry. No real need to question that disconnect or look closely at why.
