    One question on your post. Happy to get knowledgable answers from anyone!
    You say you 'sold your LPD and cashed up a capital loss'.
    Do you mean that you sold LPD for profit against a different capital loss (I think we were earlier talking about a nominal 4 year limit on a different capital loss... did you ask the accountant about that one?)

    Otherwise I was wondering how you were avoiding a 'wash' (Selling to obtain a capital loss, and buying back into essential the same position), which the ATO is on the prowl against. I wouldn't think that even buying back through the rights would protect against that.
    Thoughts?

    It's a nice position to be in, when we have to think about what to DO with all our sudden profits!
