Careers are very cyclical. When I started out as a Biomedical Engineer, it was way down the list of salaries. Now it is near the top of all Engineering feilds. No doubt that will attract more students, then a glut of graduates. Graduates undercut the experience. Negative salary pressure. Students look elsewhere. Lack of graduates. Cycle repeats.
Happens to a lessor degree with teaching nearly every decade. Goverment decides not enough teachers. Offer incentives. Incentives end. Back to square one.
Some of the issues you mention will hopefully be offset by a growing iHealth sector. Internet and phone will never replace face-to-face consultation but it may relieve the burden for non critical matters.
I've seen the 'cost price' of Thermalife at one pharmacy, and it may vary depending on API, Sigma, but the markup was much more than 10%.
But it is a concern hearing reports on difficulties ordering the product and stock levels. Staff will push what they have available. The lazier ones will put Thermalife in the 'too hard basket' if the supply chain doesn't improve.
I know Voltaren reps give away free tickets to pharmacies. My mate went to the F1 GP. It's good reason to sell one product over another. Health should come first but money tends to rule. All the mobile phone companies do it too. Especially AFL tickets.
