Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh and General Võ Nguyên Giáp were brilliant.


The USA, IMO, is totally hampered strategically by several factors - at least

* profit driven
* politics
* a culture of ill placed exceptionalism
false security based in the beliefs like firepower must win etc

time after time, they’ve underestimated the sheer guts and determination of their enemy which they created
