The XJO closed higher on Thursday
The Index jumped higher early in the trading day, pulled back a little, then ground higher for the remainder of the day.
However, spread narrowed again, and volume (value traded) was also reduced.
The difficulties in pushing higher on reducing volume could be seen on Thursday, with the spread narrowing as expected,
and the index really having to grind higher during the afternoon as it slowly absorbed its way through the supply coming in.
The line at 5691.9 where price has failed twice before is just overhead now, & needs to see a decent effort (in volume) to overcome the potential resistance which appears to lie there (although the previous two attempts would have at least weakened the resistance a little).
