You make an important point.

If the current shorter term possibility (H/n/S) does successfully complete - then the longer term one if kaput.

Because of the UpVol/DownVol studies I've shown in the recent past, I'm putting confidence in completion of the shorter term possibility.

But - I'll be willing to change my mind.

I'd also point out that the 100-Week MA is just a little above the neckline of the long term H/n/S that you've pointed out.

The 100-Week MA has been an important marker in the recent history of the XJO. That for me is the critical line in the sand.
