I have a friend who works in a very high (no pun intended
) position, controlling a huge project, upon a specialist's advice the person is medicated with dexamphetamine, which is basically pure speed to assist their condition.
The levels they take are way above normal, yet if you spoke or interacted with the person, you'd never know but that's a side issue. The main thrust is that they were concerned with the legality of "drug driving".
Their Dr simply wrote a covering letter stating & explaining their condition & their consumption of dexamphetamine didn't affect their ability to control a motor vehicle.
My friend simply keeps the letter in their glove box for any RDT's.
It's yet to be tested on RDT sites but it would seem that there is a provision in place for exceptions.
