Well done Sarge17 for the doing the research on HC posters such as BonzaBoy. Blocked him many years ago for posting absolute crap similar to 99% of HC posters. TBH I do not see any value in listening to anything said on HC for investment purposes (my own posts included). A real shame and probably not what the intention of the original concept behind HC was about but that is what it has become. It is also a shame many still look to HC for investment knowledge. It holds none - well very little!
IMO HC will not be around in years to come if it continues down the road it currently travels.
Would love to see a third stock exchange launched in Oz and world wide, that in their charter prevents selling of shares not owned and limits traded shares (for ALL) to a set amount (say $500) and maybe must be held for a set period of time. If one happened to launch I could see many companies departing existing stock exchanges and moving their business to this platform.
Of course the ASX and Chi-x run for profit - which is ok and necessary for them to stay in business, but if their profit is deemed to be due to practice that to many (including myself) is considered to be unethical (whether loosely or not) then I see an opportunity for others. There are many supporters of ethical business practices these days and numbers are growing.
Bring on a better exchange for investment in businesses - one that is not a casino (we have enough of those already) and let honest investment in great Australian business continue to support them lead the world.
