I will "give it a rest" when the likes of BBB stop posting garbage.
Insofar as your "not cast in gold" statement, when a company indicates an announcment will be made at a certain time then, then in the absence on an announcment to the contrary, s/holders should be able to expect the date to be firm.
Without such principles then the whole process would be a (bigger) joke.
And no, I am not an accountant, rather an individual with considerable professional trading experience, who believes in a fair go for shareholders.
Obviously contrary to your view of ethics I dare say!
