"Jobs jobs jobs."

simplistic thinking that was possibly ok 1950 - it's way out of date now


what really matters when you distill it all down is - economy

jobs do not make economy ------------- money does

money going around and around and around is what makes a society work


you can have all the jobs in the world ------- you can give all australians 3 jobs each - and you can have them working 24 hours a day 365 days a year

and, it matters not a bean --

what matters is money in circulation

that means they can spend and when they spend - a BYPRODUCT of that - just happens to be jobs


there is no chicken and egg argument in this -

it's demand that fires everything in the first place - and, the next ingredient you need is 'money'

jobs come down the list after that.

it's the fatal flaw of governments thinking - they target what they think are 'jobs' --

whereas - they should be aiming a couple of steps below that
