CTP trading 19.8c Looks like the 20c buyer - Macquarie - just pulled their bid.
CTP shareholders have made it clear by vote and market behavior that the bid is unacceptable. MQL can 'demonstrate' the effective market support without their buying, which will be lower. Expect volatility, particularly as MQL or associates begin shorting.
I welcome the OptionCo alternative. This is a valuable set of assets. Even if the Stuart Howes team is of only moderate quality (I have no knowledge, just canvassing the options) the outcome for shareholders will unquestionably be superior. Hold the line!
